Three distinct expressions, three distinct bodies, and three distinct generations. In order to portray emotions that evolve over time, I worked with the geometric shapes of the living features in this artwork. In particular, the angular changes on the facial features serve as an abstract depiction of how time diminishes people's happiness as it passes. I enhanced this illustration by adding black winded stitches to their backs, which depicts the realistic amount of stress and burden they must bear given their age.
